This is the most visited temple of the state. Located on the foothills of Moti Dungari of Jaipur, this temple was built in 20th century by the Birla family. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort, Lord Lakshmi. The temple holds three domes, which represents the three main religions that were born in the country. Inside the temple, you can find statues of deities of various religions, philosophers, national integrity and so on. The temple is famous for its delicate architecture and the serenity of the place. Are you fed up of cliche temples? How about visiting the rat temple. Karni Mata temple holds more than 20,000 black rats in Bikaner. The main ritual of the temple is to feed the rats. Whenever a rat is dead, a rat statue is erected inside the temple complex. The food offered by the devotees is nibbled by the rats. The remains of the nibbles are considered to be very holy and are offered to the devotees. The best time to visit the temple is during Ashvin Shukla Dashmi, Karni Mata fair, Chaitra and others.

This 8th century temple is located in Udaipur. This temple complex was said to be built with 108 temples, surrounded by high walls. Today, a few temples stand proud. The main temple of the complex is Shiva temple. This is a very important pilgrimage site. If you visit during Mondays, you can find many rituals for Lord Shiva. The temple is best visited during Maha Shivaratri. The exact date of the festival changes each year, based on the lunar calendar.
